Basori, fence Nursery School
Basori, a village of 1800 inhabitants in the west of The Gambia, has had a basic medical centre since 1990. Pregnant women and malaria patients are given immediate help here. However surgery can only be performed at Brikama hospital, some 20 kms from the village.
Next to the medical centre is the Nursery school, attended by 100 pupils. Recently two new classrooms and a storage room were added thanks to the support of the Foundation Development 3rd world. (OW3), which has already realised very many projects in the village.
However, there is no money for a fence, which would enable children to move freely in the schoolyard because it keeps cattle out.
The costs for the fences are budgeted at 144800 Dalasi / 4150 euro
