Kairaba Village. Construction nursery school
This community of 2500 people has no nursery school. The nearest school is 1.5 kms away, in Faraba Banta. Children 5 years of age and younger cannot walk this distance on a every day basis.

Therefore the village committee has expressed their wish to build a nursery school in the village. The cost estimate of this is 535,000 Dalasis / 15,285 Euros.
The women’s greatest wish is a ‘coos milling machine’, which will make the time consuming grain pounding a thing of the past. Each woman may use this machine at a small price. The cost estimate of both building and machine are 175,000 Dalasis / 5000 Euros.

The community garden will be enlarged because of the great interest in it. This larger garden needs fencing to keep out stray cattle. The expenses for this are 275,000 Dalasis/ 7857 Euros.
Driving for these projects means supporting the village committee in the implementation of these plans.
