Project Description (200 words)Brief summary of project backgrond, problem statement and justification

Jalikassa  is devoid of fresh drinking water.  There is a hand pump and an open well, but that water is not hygienic ... now we have to walk far towards Faraba Banta to get fresh drinking water. We would like to build a borehole with solar and a pipeline to the village.  Work has already begun .  The tower for the water tank has been built , but all financial resources are missing now .  There are even plans to cut down the last trees to create money to get the project started, but that is of course not the intention that those trees are cut down, but the need is high.

Expected outputs

Fresh drinking water and water that is not  salt would be very welcome in the village also for the further development of the village and for the school that is also under construction it would be welcome ... It will also be useful for the development of the  village would be nice if there is clean water for fishing and for the tourists who also visit Jalikassa and an expansion of tourism to create financial income.

Project Sustainability

 Because the project will work on solar energy, it is sustainable maintenance and control Will be checked every day by the capital technical of the village and possibly repaired by people from their own village, the construction and excavation work will also be done by local people  so it doesn't cost any money.  Everyone is responsible for the use of the crane and will be asked by all residents. A small contribution to finance the maintenance costs of the project.
