Njongon Village, Graan maalmachine

Project Description (200 words) e.g. objectives, activities and duration, etc. JUSTIFICATION: In order to get their coose milled, the women of Njongon and the surrounding areas do endure terrible conditions. They usually labor and toil in the scorching sun, and they also have other everyday domestic chores to complete. Since coose is a daily bread for the majority of people in the Njongon community and the neighboring satellite villages, the completion of this project would spare the women from the arduous and painful chore of milling it. The milling machine is intended to ameliorate the longstanding endurance women in our communities face daily and also to be a be a source of revenue to support the Community Health Center, which likewise has noticeable shortcomings that must be addressed to ameliorate the lack of medical items for women who do come there monthly to have their children attended to by a health-worker. The project is intended to be sustainable for the benefit of our communities as a whole since, with a working milling machine, we would be able to raise funds to pay for other developmental needs. The project is anticipated to be completed in a month and will involve the following primary tasks: mobilization, material procurement, transportation, and installation/fixing of the machine and donor’s recognition and acknowledgement. Current Milling Machine is broken and out of use
