Pakau Njogu, MCH post zonne energie

Het hoofddoel van het project is om op outreachdagen op de gezondheidspost een gunstiger gezondheidsomgeving te bieden voor moeders en kinderen. Het zorgt voor een duurzame energiebron voor de benodigde medische apparatuur. Dit zal de kwaliteit van de dienstverlening van de verpleegkundigen op de post verbeteren, wat ook zal bijdragen aan het terugdringen van vermijdbare kindersterfte, vooral bij kinderen onder de vijf jaar. Ook met een verbeterde bewaaromgeving, zal het helpen om de kwaliteit van medicatie te behouden en de mogelijkheid van besmetting te verminderen, dit zal de algehele gezondheid van zowel moeders als kinderen verbeteren.

Project Description (200 words) e.g. objectives, activities and duration, etc. The main objective of the project is to provide a more conducive health environment for mothers and children on outreach days at the health post. It will ensure that there is a sustainable energy source for the required medical equipments. This will improve the quality of service provided by the nurses at the post, which will also contribute to the reduction of preventable infant mortality especially in cases of children under five. Also with improved storage environment, it will help to maintain the quality of medication and reudce the possibility of contamination, this will boost the overall health of both mothers and children.
This shed provides shelterl for women and their children during their weekly clinics and needs solar energy

Project Sustainability

The village development committee and the village support group will support the project in collaboration with the other beneficiary communities to ensure sustainability. Charging fees will also be attached for community members who wish to charge their phones at the health post. The only exceptions to the charging fees are the medical personnel who come for RCH. The proceeds will be saved |
