JUSTIFICATION: The newly constructed cluster Reproductive and Child Health Clinic Waiting for seven cluster communities in the area that is providing access to health care sservice to the mother and other care givers in the area is currently in need of furniture and clansing mateial. At the mment, evice users, who are mostly pregnant women and lactating mothers have to stand on their foots to acces the service. In adition, there is no proper beds for checking as well as waste colection materials. This has affected service delivery and waste maagement at the clinic. Below is the photo of the clinic. 

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The proposed project seeks to provide assortment of furniture and cleansing materials at the community Monthly Clinic facility.  As part of plan, furniture such as plastic chairs, bench, tables and beds will be proviced and cleansing marteials such as whelbarows, rakes, dustbeins and hand fork. The project is expected to be implemened wihin three months and will entail the folliowing main activities: Mobilization, Procurement of materials, Transportation, installatio/fixing and labelling for identification by the project implementation committee

Major goal

Improve healthcare service at the Monthly Trekking site for seven cluster communities by providing furniture and cleansing materials by the end of the project. 

Specific objectives

Provide assprtment of cleansing materials and furniture for service users

Reduce burden on both service users and providers during the monthly clinic service 

Improve sanitation and hygine at the Monthly Treking site 

Expected outputs

• 5 dozen of original plastic chairs, 30 pieces of wooden benches, 5 pieces of tables and 4 beds
• 5 dustbins, 2 hand forks, 2 wheelbarrows and rakes provided
• Improve service delivery

As part of strategies to sustain the project, the appling institution will: 

• Strgthening the activities of the management comittee of the facility
• Regular inspection and maintenance of the materials
• Regular fundraising for the upkeep of the items
• Opening of a special acount for the facility by the management comitee
